At what percentage does an investor (retail(?)/institution/OEM(?) have to declare his position?

I think it is 10%. Please note that I think it does not appear under inside ownership, but should be retrievable from a platfrom like Bloomberg. In case of NLC, the overall volume has been close to 2-3M in the past month so it is far from there, but a hostile equity ownership (and subsequent try to take over?) is not out of realm of possibility IMO. A takeover with a price range of up to $2/share is unlikely in my opinion. The institutional shareholder base sits at about 40% and they have been around when the stock was well above a dollar. A transaction anywhere below $5/share would be immensely accretive for an acquirer, with the price going as low as $7K/tonne for LCE, since there is so much of the deposit that we have yet to drill.

I completely agree in a better Li environment. We are not there yet.The current NPV of the project would be in 700M CAD range for LCE=$7k which is ~$5/share. However the acquirer needs to put up CAPEX, and accept all the other risks.

I don't understand why the current market price for carbonate is relevant. By the time NLC will start to deliver the stuff, the market will be in a panic.  There'll be a severe shortage. Once more therefore: Tiger, agreed, I find it unpleasant to grope around in the relative dark.
