When both will happen, the already tight supply from salars won't be abble to feed the lithium cravings from the OEMs, especially as the demand will turn from hydroxide to chloride in the same time. Then, the demand could increase even more as :

- Ev penetration accelerate due to solid state ( safer , faster charging, cheaper, more density and the ICE END )

- More Lithium into batteries

- Advantages of Brine over Hardrock as feedstock

I begin to believe , the old sage who posted a couple years ago , that it was worth at least 135 $ a share even back then :

Oversupply continues to 2025-27. Stop losing your money being long at 65 cents. Stop being dumb!   The opportunity to buy in will be around 2023 still several years away. You should have done what I did was get out at 1.80 and find other things to invest in such as Northern Dynasty which I own 700,000 shares which should easily go to $10 from the current price of $1.10. I got it for $1.10

No, he's talking about Thacker Pass in Nevada, their other massive project. A lot of speculation around that one because of his proxemity with Tesla . https://www.lithiumamericas.com/thacker-pass/ Thacker Pass, the largest known lithium resource in the United States and the next large scale lithium mine.
