Battery as a Service will help people pay an electric car by cutting the price by almost 20K $us and rent the battery with the savings on gas ( especially for the high mileages drivers ). Furthermore it will reassure some about the longevity of the battery by not owning it, and others by seeing the willingness of NIO and CATL to rent their pack on longterm basis. The cell to pack stats are really good and NIO is the only real competitor to Tesla on the tech side. Wich place CATL in a good spot by supplying both of them!

Exiting news. When one combines the possibilities of Papino0's links with what Jesse and Zack had to say in "In Depth" on May 15 (start at about 20 min.), car drivers may soon be paid for buying a car ;-) In Depth That, of course, is a bit over the top, but cheaper than ICE will soon be a certainty.
