Share performance comparison

Here is some compilation of brine companies, different stages (LAC) and locations (SLL is in USA).

  LAC ML SLL NLC
TOP (AROUND JAN 20) 26.82 5.21 4.6 3.8
NOW 19.82 3.76 3.76 2.56
DIFF 7 1.45 0.84 1.24
% OF DECLINE 26.10% 27.83% 18.26% 32.63%

01-Nov 9.61 1.5 2 1.01
GAIN TO DATE 106.24% 150.67% 88.00% 153.47%

NLC is the most volitile of all. We lost the most (from the max), because we gain the most (CATL helpd too)...SLL is probably least risky (location), but return is also limited. All sold shares, NLC, ML, SLL all got around 30M (LAC 400M). SLL had a terrible timing, selling at first possible increase (sold at $2.20) - I would be pissed

Thanks Neo, puts things in perspective. We all have to admit that the rise was a bit crazy. Back to normal now and book progress on the project. Shareprice will eventually reach where LAC was at the top earlier. Not to worry, all's fine. Have fun.

Stop spinning my head Neo, I'm getting dizzy. However, that was one of the shortest corrections I've ever seen in my portfolio. Let's keep it for a while at around the financing level. Let the team get to work in peace. Have fun.

Hi everyone, This is tiger6301, lost my password again, and have sent my request to SH for re-set my passwork, but still waitting over 1 week now. Glad NLC has a strong performance today, and bough 20k last Friday at 2.53. Joe Lowry has two excellent podcasts recently EP91/EP93, it's good to listen.  Here is the link. tiger https://www.globallithium.net/podcast

Hi Tiger. I seemed to detect some doubts from Joe about NLC's ability to get funding for the project. Has anyone heard anything specific on the plan for funding? Waldo and Carlos dont seem to be overly concerned about their ability to raise the monies... or anything else for that matter!!

Hi Nick, completely agree with you! Hi LiBully, CATL is building two battery plants and expanding 1 plant in China, and will invest 5 billion $ for a new plant in a South East asian county.  They are the bigest battery producer in the world.  Where are the li comes from for their plants?  Certainly they can souce li from others, but they may not get enought from others. If you ...more

I completely agree. I think CATL will want the high quality of the product we can produce and will make sure it happens. I have one sensible pension in a diversified portfolio. I have another pension which is 50% NLC and 50% SGMA. You can guess which has done better! The Li portfolio is now double the other one and started half as big!

NLC is brine li producer, it's final product is lithium carbonate, while SGMA is rock li producer, and its product is li-concentrate-spondumene.  The concentrate producer is losing or bearly making money now, and will not make much money, and need to become an integrated either carbonate or hydrite producer.  When lithium is over supplied like a few years until now, the rock lithium ...more

And they are producing now in the test plant, have not taking out any loans, and were purposely waiting for the final feasibility study to encompass CATL needs. The building of the plant will be easy to finance or they will get bought out. Either way get in early, get in cheap, and don't ever sell until you hit your target. It will be a ride up and down till then! But I am 100% in 60k stocks ...more

It's been that long, huh. Checked my brokertransactions: 3 Feb. 2017 3000NLC at $1.20 It's been a ride ;-) NLC now is at 73% of my portfolio, but it wasn't so long ago a meagre 20% or some such. I don't think that I'll take something off the table, too hard to find a better investment. Congrats to all longs. We've done good and will continue to do better. Have fun.

Hi Rudd, I am glad someone has a similar mind like me, LOL. I verified my NLC investments during Xmas, my 1st buy was December 2017 at $2.40, and kept buying to low at 0.46 last year.  Last week when I saw NLC was in the 2.50th, I was trying to persuade my wife to buy more NLC, and she refused and told me that I cannot put all my money into a single stock.  Anyway, I sold some other ...more
