Where do you sit with NLC?

Hi guys, since this is an anonymous billboard Id be curious to see what everyone is holding here, Im willing to share. This is an approximation of my history with NLC since about 2017. I originally held about 200k shares at about .85, I sold all at about $1.95. I watched the price rise to about 2.60ish and felt Id left much on the table. When the price pulled back I made the mistake of buying back in too soon. I purchased several times on the way down, $2.15, $1.65, $1.25.....watched it fall to .38. Over the next 12 months I bought a shtload between .42-.65 bringing my average to about $1.15ish. I currently hold 487k shares with no plan to sell for 2years unless everything goes to hel!, which I believe is unlikely. I dont currently need this money so Ill just let it ride. Curious how some of the other old timers are doing. Cheers!

Been watching this company since 2016... Starting buying in early 2019 all the way through to last March.  Average price around .67.  Grown to around 10% of my portfolio now.  Should have bought more, but I am strict with risk management and postion sizing as I have been burned in the past and will not make that mistake again.

Hi Greektome, As I mentioned in my previous post with Ruddinfrance,  I am so heavy with NLC, about 75% of my investments, a total of about 460K.  I have been buying it from December 2017 at 2.40 to recent low last year at about 0.46, and my last buys were at high 2.53 & 3.00 a few weks back.  My overall cost is about $1.00, including my cash, mine & wife's TFSA, and ...more

I bought @ $1.10, then a few more shares @ $2 when they did the Cormark financing, still long those. I loaded up sub $0.50 last year bought RRSP, TFSA, kids RESP, parents. friends, etc All said between family and friends we own just under 400K shares.

I have 5000 shares I bought for under a buck. Where do you see this headed over the long term? What's your exit strategy?
Comment by RuudinFrance on Feb 09, 2021 2:30pm
You should do your own DD, but I'd say, keep them for 2-3 years and be pleasantly surprised ;-) If it works out you'll see >$100000 in your account. No exit for that period. When you're happy with the proceeds, sell them. Have fun.

I like those numbers. $20/share is reasonable and has been my target from the beginning. They probably get bought for that at some point by a major battery or Li player.

Do battery companies buy lithium companies?
Comment by Eric35 on Feb 10, 2021 12:15pm
CATL has already owned and operated a lithium mine called North American Lithium. they went bankrupt and this place went bankrupt 3 times. located in quebec. NLC directors are much in favour for a JV

You are in the major leagues. congratulations to all on your gains. I made several beginner mistakes with NLC, bad timing, stop-loss, average down ... So,my first account of 45,000 shares at average 0.90$ that I sold everything not a long time ago because I was too much invested in NLC. I made a nice profit. Now, I have 38,000 at $ 1.74. Today, it gives me 86% gain

Started buying early 2017, averaged down severely from $1 going down. Total family (mum&dad, kids, grandkids, 6 accounts): 160K shares at 97 cents. No complaints so far :-) In the meantime also collected 100K PIPE @ $1.07 MRS 60K +25% BYN 60K  -9% AXU 1000 +2% VGLD 30K +20% I find it important to NOT have all in one basket. Have fun
