It just took another hit to its “battery metal” narrative, as the world’s #2 EV maker (BYD) just announced that it’s going 100% LFP—meaning that it won’t use any nickel or cobalt in its batteries. That’s after Tesla made a similar move for its Model 3s made in China (and sold around the world)."
