Fairly Optomistic Here

It seems that most everybody posting is fairly optimistic about NVCN right now. I still haven’t hea4d if anybody had the answer to the question I posted earlier about the unusual trading of this stock, and how a company with nearly 80milln outstanding shares could be trading 200 million shares (or more) in one day?  I’ve heard people post saying that Insisders hold 30%, and funds and Institutions hold another 30%, so how could so many shares be trading daily??  That would leave about 40% of the outstanding shares, does that sound about right?  And isn’t this a Red Flag for anyone here?

The way this this stock has traded over the last little while, it wouldn’t surprise me if this wasn’t the bottom....

NOT a Basher, as I’ve been accused of before, but actually want to know people’s opinion on what I’ve said.  The trading characteristics of this stock has me questioning a number of things, and I just want to know if there are any others with questions.

Thanks

My understanding is that the past year the company has seen tremendous interest in shorts. Borrowing a large volume decreasing the share value, shaking the tree and weak hands sell and then the shorts cover. It seems to have been consistently happening for the past year or more with the largest short positions happening recently. If you look at the buy and sell volumes, their fairly similar ...more

In fact there is now nearly 500mill shares on the market, about 80% of them are private shares (look at MKT cap vs MKT cap less private shares). These shares came in play with the latest PP, they had to raise funds to clear up the dept to CardiaQ and have some extra money to continue developping the products. So that makes 400mill new shares that came in the market lately, it explains the super ...more

Yes and it can be already more. In the discussion about outstanding shares, they said the fully dilluted float is 580millions on march 27th and potentialy 1,5 billions shares if all warrants are exercised using the cashless alternative of the last pp. And later on the NR the list all the risk we would face and one is : "risk relating to cashless exercise and adjustement provisions in the ...more

Hey Thanks to all of you for explaning that a little better, because I missed the cc and all the information I found about outstanding shares gave nearly 79 million as the total. Now I get the finalization of the pp it makes much sense. I wasn’t really concerned about the stock until it broke support below 15 cents. After it fell off that cliff i was a little more apprehensive about getting ...more

Funny you had claimed to have had a position here after getting your feathers ruffled. The CC by the way is on the Company's website. Do your D&D Fraud!

The Position you refer to is accurate, which is why I’m trying to get my head around whether this stock has a future, or maybe I’ve made an enormous mistake.  Time will tell. Swung from the fences before, and have the certificates from companies like Bre-X  to prove it.

Reading and listening to the last transcript dated March 28th; they paid off the huge fine when they could have simply closed the doors, and yet they carried on. They have funds to survive till September. So lets see what hapens til then. I assume their products will be successful and the new management will take them on the right track. Lastly the TSX has agreed not to dislist them; that must ...more
