Neovasc Inc. > The split is on the table

The split is on the table

as a bargaining chip for Neovasc to be granted an extension on the NASDAQ. If the Company's extension is granted, I doubt the reverse split will be initiated, particularly if they succeed in amending the terms of the remaining 2017 financing ("Event Price Provisions"). I personally think its worth the effort. So, even if a split is voted for, we won't see it unless the "Company is not able to amend such provisions or obtain a waiver of such provisions in connection with its efforts to address the challenges to its capital structure, the Company may elect not to proceed with the reverse stock split." The NASDAQ is important to attract larger institutional investors in the U.S. to bring its products there to market.

This is going down half cent by next week...
Comment by Barewood on May 16, 2018 11:24pm
Half a cent! Wow, where are your metrics for such an assertion? I'll load up either way! So 5000.00 will give me a whopping 1,000,000 shares; think of the possibilities!

I cant wait for this half cent SP either.

Now, now Rimbus. What did we say about being condescending towards towards board members? Should you not be checking your aftermarket watch for your $800 flips? Hah

@Rimbus. They refer to me as you because I joke about their pumping. The last few traders certain this company will turn around and they'll become millionaires. I keep flipping this stock at a .005 spread and they think its funny. I might not make a million, but so far took 9200USD in the past 2 weeks, with minimal effort, and while flipping my other stocks. "The analysts are smarter than ...more

Onions7777, what happened to your be the "bigger man" and stop helping people from "losing" their investments. You still seem to show up here and do absolutely nothing. Just remember its hard to make money in stocks where the shareholder base are underwater. If a share compression of 1 for 100 takes place as the news release underscores then somebody with a cost of 2 dollars per share then has a cost of 200 dollars per share
Comment by Barewood on May 23, 2018 11:59am
That is not how it works.
Comment by Montrose9 on May 23, 2018 3:34pm
Pretty straight forward if you bought 100 shares at 2 dollars and you end up with 1 share that share cost you 200 dollars plus the brokerage. Of course if they do not alter the share structure and the shares go back to 2 dollars then those who buy now are golden. I will be the first to admit I dont enough about this listing to declare it has no value

Montrose, what ever the market price of your holdings are at the the time of the consolidation regardless of the amont of shares, will remain the same. So say you bought 10,000 shares at 0.10 that would mean your Book amount will be 1000.00 plus commissions paid, which is reflected on your account, but lets say the price drops to 0.06; your book amount remains the same book your market price will ...more

In response to this post by Barewood  lets remember SIRI that was once below a dime and now is over 4 dollars with something like 4 billion shares outstanding and never did do a share compression. It only took time and a quality productand of course quality management that knew how to run a business and cared about shareholders. My opinion in general is that management who implement reverse ...more

You missed my point. I was explaining to you how the R/S work. I also explained in several cases that Neovasc has made clear that the R/S may not go through pending on a number of circumstances.
Comment by Barewood on May 24, 2018 1:40pm
The major point here is, and if you look through and or listen to the updates provided by the Company, if Neovasc does not meet the NASDAQ's minimum pps of $1.00, the Company stands the risk of being delisted, which means Neovasc will not have access to major institutional investors. The Goal hear is to bring it two key products to the U.S.. Read the following and you'll see: News ...more
