Deal still going through with Hip and CanniMed?

Why would CanniMed sign a supply agreement with a company they have proposed to acquire in two weeks with a supply agreement with HIP? doesnt make any sense, unless the deal isnt going through and they will be partners instead? Thoughts?

Maybe CMED new in advance HIP shares might have a chance of rising for whatever reason.
