Need Advice on selling using TD Waterhouse

Good morning all. Newbie investor here. If I decide to put in an order to sell pre market this morning, whats the best way to sell without losing anymore money using TD Waterhouse software? When I look under the price category there are several options ( Market/Limit/Stop Market/Stop Limit/Trailing Stop Market/Trailing Stop Limit). If Im convinced its going down today, and I want to put the order in before the market opens, whats the best option to use. And, if Im using these limits, what price do you put in to get out at the highest price? I guess as opening gets near also I should have a look at pre market bid/ask.

Why don't you put a stop limit order at $2.05 if it goes down and hits that price it will get triggered. If it goes up you can continue to participate in a rally. Thanks for faving me to get the money for the opportunity to work with you and have a great day.

Get a book or google STOP LOSS, or TRAILING STOP.  This is a basic trading fundamental and you must do your due diligence,  Learn about a trailing stop, and you can take advantage of a rising price while protecting your investment at a trigger that is acceptable to you.

I see the ask/bid is well below $2 this morning. If that continues closer to opening, will that effect what I get out at, assuming I put in a stop limit of $2.10?

why not just sell at market now and you will get the opening price

If the stock opens lower than your $2.10 stop limit, you won't get out. Either lower the stop limit or wait until the market opens and keep your finger on the trigger... take good care

So, is that true? If it opens less than my stop limit, I wouldn't get out unless it comes back to $2.10? If that's true I guess it is the best advice to keep my finger on the trigger?
