Also ... What does tragically hip do for this?
I love pizza. And the Toronto Raptors. If Demar Derozan was the name of a new pizza. I'm not sure if I would invest in the pizza stock due to it. One has nothing to do with the other. OR! Am I wrong here?

Branding. That's what they do. They are one of the if not the most popular Canadian band in history. What does any celebrity or athlete do for a company? Brand and recognition.

I am going to assume 99% of this is horse chit. If you work in the entertainment business then you would know how branding works and attaching stars to products and companies is HUGE. So getting more celebrities and stars involved in HIP and branding it is stupid? lol okie dokie

Well just think about what Snoop does for WEED....branding, fan base this is all great news....it absolutely helps when you big names attached to a product. How about Michale Jordan shoes, or Beats by Dre....to give a few examples.

I also forot to mention - I agree with the poster who stated why would you sign an exclusive deal if you are about to be acquired....doesn't make any sense....

Give it some time. Once the ongoing “Hip-steria” is over, I can see a turn around of the Hip train.
