Could it be that...
Let me be clear, this is speculation only. But could a scenario unfold where Zettl, with a growing sense that his shareholders will vote Aurora, began discussions with Aurora in attempt to negotiate some kind of new deal. The Newstrike vote was destined to go through, they only had one option. CMED however has two. Aurora is on a trajectory to being a powerhouse with recent signings with TGOD and now the Italian market. In these now friendlier negotiations with Aurora could a new deal be in the process of being negotiated which will include a merger between Aurora, CMed and Newstrike.? When Aurora says they dont want Newstrike, that is they didnt want them at the current deal negotiated with Cmed. However if new friendlier negotiations are being undertaken why wouldnt Aurora now consider incorporating them into a new agreement as they are now licensed, branded and offer an increase in cultivation square footage, all aspects that have changed since November. Aurora is buying like crazy and a merger between these three will surely thrust Aurora into the forefront of the Cannabis sector nationally and internationally. IMO all three have something to offer each other. Thoughts?

Makes perfect sense to me. Glad I kept some of my HIP shares.

for that to occur, I would imagine that CMED would have to vote Yes to HIP, then be absorbed by Aurora. If CMED is in negotiations with Aurora, resulting in a deal prior to a yes vote on HIP, wouldn't that essentially annul the HIP vote as the agreement as the terms would have been altered. HIP would either be a part of the agreement if they so desired, or on their own.
