If you purchased Newstrike shares because you thought it was a good investment then don’t give any credibility to what you read on this forum. Unless it has been backed up with data you can validate. Below is a brief description of short selling tactics (short selling is borrowing of shares for the purpose of selling).

Short selling is highly regulated by securities authorities around the world, not only because of its risky nature, but also because it is prone to manipulation by dishonest short sellers who may use unethical tactics to drive down stock prices. Such “short and distort” schemes and other abuses such as bear raids are more prevalent during severe bear markets

 

“Short and distort” is an illegal tactic used by unscrupulous short sellers wherein they short a stock and then spread rumours and innuendo to drive down its price. A bear raid refers to short sellers who connive to push a stock lower through concerted short selling and rumors of negative developments.

Now, when you read through the many comments on this forum remember what you read here. Take to your own searches and look it up and learn all you can about it. It will help you understand how share prices are affected.

I’m invested in Newstrike because I believe it’s a good investment. We are going to see many more up and downs prior to legalization. Don’t let rumours dictate when you buy and sell your shares, learn to read the data and rely on official news for your information.

    well your a hypocrite in saying that Duncepanic..   If i remember correctly weren't you siding with Baglickker1214 when  Baggripper1214 was insinuating i was a "basher" and just in here to scare ppl to sell . Seems to me you were pretty "influence" by what I was saying about HIP at the time   Your two-faced.

Fantastic Panic... There is little if any on fact on this forum except for the presumption that this stock is going through the roof without hard facts supporting that. The tactics you described perhaps can happen but it is quite certain not the case here. MJ stocks went up too far too fast, especially HIP and hence speculators are shorting. Unfortunately that is likely more factual than your

Hi Swampcat, I never said said it would breach $2:00....I don’t expect this share to go through the roof although I do expect it to be around the $3:00 - $4:00 range come legalization. My exit point is far lower than the roof. Specifically...what would be the through the roof share price? That would be important information to know.

Panic $3-4 come legalization is breaching $2 jack-azz. Stock investing can be a brutal business as you dont know. If you are so sure about a min $3 valuation then why dont you sell your refinance your home and put everything you have into HIP.

Excellent advice. Time is on our side. Day traders and shorts might be in a hurry, but long-term shareholders certainly aren't. We patiently wait it out and use the dips to buy more and average down. deet
