RBC Investing...

I do my investing with RBC and the HIP symbol is changed and I cannot buy or sell....anyone know why?

Seeing the same on all my RBC accounts for HIP.  No sign of a trading halt or anything, no idea what is causing it.  I can only guess its a problem with RBC as I do know they have had issues in the past when trading is heavy (not specific to a particular stock, the market in general).  Hoping it will clear up here pretty quick.  Please post if you happen to speak with RBC and

many of the houses dont have shares because of the name change stuff... mine was locked on friday but avauilable today.. so likely today tomorrow you will be able to trade.. waiting another day or three is likely in your favour becasue the temptaion to sell is out of your control and the price will likely be much higher..

Newstrike is going trough a name change, usually it takes about 4-5 business days to have the sticker update it in your account!!! You have to call them if you want to place an order! Hope this helps, GL
