It was the run that occurred when Cannimed announced they were going to buy out NewStrike.  That was before HIP had any money, a license, facilities etc... AND BEFORE LEGALIZATION now we are trading right around the same level as BEFORE all that happened.. anyhow, if you Google Cannimed Newstrike Deal you should find some of the old articles.  After Aurora bought out Cannimed NewStrike

Wouldnt surprise me to se a run to $5-$10 with the right news.... If and only if this is being accumualted hard by a few large houses.... "in the know"

That would have to be an NR regarding another buyout, not impossible, HIP would be a good buyout target considering their expansions and the provincial agreements.  I think its a buy just on its long term growth potential.  If I see an email announcing a buyout and the stock races up to 4 or 5 bucks in a day... well gee... I guess I will suck it up and find a way to deal with it

Its great to dream, just rememebr to take profit..... the trick is trying to determine when and where.. never an absolute science.. one strategy that works, and I suggest, but often lack the discipline is to sell in 1.3's at specific endpoints and buy in 1/3's or halves until you get the go signal... sounds easy but emotions often come into play... and that can be good and bad.... another
