I hope Canada won't screw up by being late into the LNG game. We have competiton worldwide.  Early brids get the worms.  

 

The U.S. shale gas revolution has been devastating for Canadian gas. Exports to the U.S. have fallen sharply and the U.S. has increased its gas exports into Ontario, making it imperative for western Canadian producers to find new markets.

"The big wild card for us is LNG," Schachter said, noting Canadian LNG will have to compete with increasing exports from countries like Qatar, Australia and the U.S.

He dismissed any possibility of all the proposed North American LNG export projects getting built: "My guess is we do two, maybe three, in Canada, probably four or so in the States."
