Other Possibilities

Thanks Tony for the new information about additional ounces that the company has not yet announced.  For years we have been hearing that this concession is a "Monster".  Caliche  said as much five years ago. With blue sky and the high grade gold that has already been found in this concession I think there could be a much bigger senario than just Teranga.  We know that  ounces are being sought by major companies because around the world resources are diminished.  Here Ole is in a "HOT SPOT" in west Africa along with Teranga that has a mill to boot.  Teranga's new executives are from Barrick.  Chet has always dealt with Barrick.  African Barrick is sitting on so much cash that to buy both these companies would hardly leave a dent in their share price.  But there are other majors that must be in this discussion with Chet as well.  IMHO I see an end that buys Ole and probably Teranga both for significant dollars.  This is not going to be any $3 deal.  With the additional resources Tony mentions we have to be $5 or more.  I believe that is why this turkey is taking so long to close IMHO.

yeah yeah GL to all that If it's a buy out then you'll get 1.45 and if it's a merger then you'll get even less Cheers RES

yeah yeah GL to all that... I am sure your comment will piss people off and given I hold shares I hope you are wrong. That said, while I think $1.45 is low the people predicting 3 or 5 bucks are dreaming. This is a buck plus change stock; it is not going for 3-5X current SP. I will be happy with 2 bucks and get it done. But I do hope I am wrong and the dreamers are correct!

While $5 might be "too high" IMO, $1.45 would be a joke....   I am sure Chet would rather sell IAM another 15 million shares at $1 in a PP than sell out at that price... I think $2.25 to $2.75 is possible

Who knows anymore what SP will be decided. But i do think the combined Merger and a Consolidated Company, and the Potential of that Merged Co's Sp is a definate factor in whatever the Hell is going on now behind the scenes. This GD stock has been a Buck forever. Personally, i feel thats a large degree b/c the Market absolutely Hates this Company, and has lost any and all confidence in it. Been ...more
