Honest Questions

There are many theories on this board about the final resolution and B/O of OLE.  Some are conservative beyond belief and other folks get laughed off the board because some think they are dreaming.  What are other Juniors going for these days?  Are they as promising as OLE?  I'm just asking an honest question because I honestly don't know.  Of course we are waiting for elections.  Over the six years I've owned this stock there is always something but at least it seems we are close this time. But is $200 an ounce realistic?  $300 an ounce?  Does stock price have anything to do with the final number?  Let's be honest, only a small number of people really know what is going on and they are not allowed by law to talk.  But if we do indeed have 5.5 million ounces (forget blue sky) and let's say at $300 an ounce which is 1 billion six hundred and fiftty million dollar B/O.  Then we divide the number of shares 135 million or so into that number we get $12.2 a share and 43.5% of 12.2 is $5.32.  With POG at over $1700 a share that seems like a deal.  I'm not saying that is what we will get but someone will make a ton of $ at $300 an ounce.  Just food for thought and discussion.  After all this time I just don't want to give away the ranch.

Riff, Been lurking here quite a while and just signed up for bullboards so i can post.  I follow gold but only know the basics.  Thanks to everyone who has posted regularly. I own OLE but sold some off around 1.12 after reading that some analysts discount gold in the ground in higher geopolitical risk areas as low as $25 an ounce.  That would put the market cap at 137.5 million and ...more

Riffdoc, since you are asking for opinions, I will give you mine.  I do not believe that $200 much less $300 per ounce of gold in the ground is realistic. There is really no blueprint or scale that is 100% accurate on putting a value on the gold.  It all depends on many factors such as grade, location, scarcity, upside potential of property, motivated ...more

get $700 million or $2.04 per share.  All just my opinion.  Comments? My comment on your post? You are sensible and worth listening to! I know you hope you are on the low side, but that seems unlikely.

Tony, Went through your analysis and checked out Danny D's numbers, and it makes me feel a lot better about things than my analysis with lower price per ounce assumptions.  Still wish I had sold more above 1.10, but now feels like maybe a buy with downside probably 75 cents and upside around $2. Any chance OLE management would release an interim statement that the buyout talks are ...more
