Just heard back from the business contact who originally told me about OLE as an investment several years ago.  He told me that the rumor is two companies are bidding on OLE.  One is already significantly in Africa and may even be in Senegal (I'm guessing Randgold), and another even larger player (no guess here).  He understands they (OLE and bidders) are waiting for the election to be finalized so the new government can confirm the commitments Wade has made about taxes, regulations, etc.

Sorry I cannot substantiate this further.  This person knows some key players in the African mining community, but I can't guarantee his information is valid.

LOL!!!   Based on the news just released, I think my contact has a good source.  OLE will have what it needs from the ministries by end of March (election ends March 25) and they have some bidders.

Also, the news release confirms that they initiated a 2012 feasibilty update to include drilling over the last 2 years.  My guess is they will leverage that update to push the final bids as high as they can go.  Expect more news on this soon. Huge news.... the most notable item???? not released on a Friday!  It seems to me this could have been released on Friday but they chose not to. that is huge.

Top, I don't know if "huge" is correct, but this is definitely significant news.  Here's why:   If I'm a major looking to buy a resource in a place like Africa with all of its unpredictability, I want assurances on two things:  1) the size of the resource and 2) confirmation that I can build the mine infrastructure without fighting the government and/or

Top, sorry, I clearly missed the joke.  LOL! I feel for you and others who have been hanging on here with OLE.  I bought a small position years ago on a recommendation and very little research.  Didn't pay much attention until early this year, and several weeks ago bought a much larger position in OLE after doing some homework and learning about gold and mining investments from

Just heard today from my contact again.  Sounds like OLE is very near agreement in principal (I think that means close to an agreement on a final number) with one of the bidders and will be working the next week or two on finalization.  Praying he's right... Please don't bet on this and do your own DD.

And a Deal could possibly  be announced in late april, and add a month to that IF Sall wins.  jwih...... now can you elaborate on whast your source is telling more detailed??.

I want to be a bit careful here and not come off as being able to predict anything.  The personal contact I have knows the OJVG from a business prospective and clearly has some knowledge of certain discussions about its future.  The conversation we had prior to the last press release confirms this.  It is probably best if I not share specific information from this

I would have to say your information has to be correct has your last post about news was dead on!! I really hope they get it done in the next couple weeks has really want to tell my boss what I think of him and hopefully I can retire early with this one.    Tks and GLTA!!!

Here is hoping your right RUN :) I bought in 2011 when Grandich stated it was a possible double or triple from the share price of 93c. My wife also hopes this deal gets done soon, as it seems to be something I bring up on a regular basis.

I've received a private note from someone with similar information to that which I have.  Will be interesting to see when the news leaks to bigger potential investors, which should finally move the stock.  Can't be long now....
