Think Big! Why Not a Giant Merger?

It would take a long time to put such a deal together (Teranga, Oromin plus Massawa now owned by Randgold). We are now into almost 9 months into negotiations. Certainly RBC plus Goldman Sachs are capable if all parties were amenable.

.

A merger would solve a lot of problems. This biggest being solved by providing the oxide ore needed  to justify putting Massawa into production. Randgold has been trying to find this on their concession for about 2 years with no success. This in turn would also allow pulling grid power to the area lowering costs for both Teranga & Oromin.

.

The new entity would start out with 10 million ounces of resources. This could quickly ramp up to 15 million ounces with Oromin supplying most of this.

.

Social, as you guys know I have always thought that TGZ would be a part of this somehow.  I posted about a month ago that I thought it would be some type of simultaneous deal.  A huge merger like this makes perfect sense.
