More Jim Sinclair....

The Rig Is Up

My Dear Friends,

Gold will go to and above $3500. This is the most important message I have sent you since 2001.

There are very few of us dynamic thinkers that see everything as a trend constantly in motion. Anyone can be a static thinker, quoting recent economic figures or news headline (MSM), and coming up with a usually wrong opinion.

The change today is that the "Rig Is Up."

The Bank of England turning their backs on Barclays, the company who did their bidding, will be the event in time marking the trend change.

Many of us in our areas of activity will successfully fight the Riggers. The many complaints that so many of you kindly sent in to fight manipulation released the Kraken in me.

The Kraken is back in its cage where it belongs. The paper trail is there. The worm has turned. Even more importantly is that this fight in the $1540 gold price area was not for regaining the old high in gold. The six attempts to kill gold, supported by some gold writers looking for favors from the riggers was a now failed attempt to keep gold from trading above $3500.

The battle to stop gold has been lost.

The start, like all starts towards the old high and well above, should be slow with more unfolding drama. It will build on itself but gold will trade at and above $3500. I am now as certain of this as I was over ten years ago when I told you gold was headed for $1650. I knew that as fact and to me from $248 gold was trading at $1650.

My job now is to define gold’s full valuation for you when it occurs. The timing is no less than one year from now to a maximum of three years from now. I believe I will be able to do that for you.

This is the most important message I have written you since early in 2001. I write this with total intellectual and spiritual certainty.

Respectfully,
Jim

If and when this scenario plays out then OLE will be worth multiples of what it is today. You can only cover up the truth about the state of the global banking system and global debt for so long. There is no way to get out of this without central banks printing money which will lead to hyperinflation. We have to look at the big picture and try not to obsess ( as I do) on the daily fluctuations of the markets. The rig is up as Jim says and gold will go up from here helping OLE along the way. Sinclair says we must be patient, own gold and sit back and watch the carnage that is about to occur. It might hurt OLE in the near term but much higher gold prices will help it in a deal or any other option they choose to pursue.

Tony----Eric Sprott also pedicts that gold will set a new high for 2012 by year end.....which means , to me , at least $2,000

Hey Guys, talk me off the ledge here....( OLE is so depressing)   but don't you think the difference between physical gold (ie bullion) and "gold in the ground" is part of the market and thus part of OLE's (and my) problem right now? The market is ignoring "gold in the ground" like a colony of lepers and why will that change, with costs soaring, political issues ...more

Hey Top, they can only ignore "gold in the ground" for so long.  Major and junior producers are going to have to replenish the ounces they mine sooner or later..  If and when producers start running low on ounces the lack of supply alone will drive gold prices higher. Exploration companies are in a terrible environment but mergers and acquisitions will continue ...more

Let's hope you're right Tony. I feel like Charlie Brown on Halloween...rocks again!!!

RORO1----I agree with Tony's comments  but also it seems like common sense to me that prospective buyers should be interested in a number of things other than just how much proven gold is there and it's cost of extraction......One of those other things is how much do they think they can sell it for once it has been extracted...

Arlene - I agee that prospective buyers should be interested in a numbner of things other than just how much proven gold is there.  I thought blue sky meant something. But everyone is downplaying it. Wonder why?
Comment by arlene2 on Jul 14, 2012 11:15am
Roro1--  Blue Sky does , imo , mean something and I have never downplayed it...In fact , I think it means a lot.......Keep in mind ,however ,that a good portion of Ole's Blue Sky is most likely at depth and will have a higher extraction cost....Best Regards ,Arlene2

Sign of the times Roro. When the environment eventually gets better for juniors then more attention will be given to blue sky. Right now not even M and I is given its proper valuation. I would not be surprised if ole does a small raise when they release the upcoming resource update. Maybe even in the same press release. It would give them more of a cushion as far as cash to review their best ...more

tony, yes looks like they will have only about $1 mil at eyars end. Per theire  WS, they  disclose $3 mil as of May.  And if memory serves, i think they disclosed $5.5 mil a/o dec 31.? You and i talked and agreed that was the last #., therefore they went thru  $ 2.5 mil from jan to May. Pending when in may, 1 or 31, thats 800k p/ mo approx p/mo.....using a conservative and ...more

Goldfather-- I , for one , do believe Chet is already negotiating hard and would love to sell now AT HIS PRICE....However , I also believe he would lose face ( and be a fool ) to sell at today's going rates for gold in the ground----especially when there seems to be a light at the end of this tunnel within the next 6-12 months. ( for all the reasons Tony has been posting ).This project is ...more

Grandich commented on Roxgold's ordeal . But its a tight little frraternity, and even smaller within VC. I have a hunch if chet and Sibthorpe get thrown Off Rox's board, he wont sell for a while. Ego has always been a huge factor here. Insiders  commented that on Ole...... Lennox King and the other two all live in VC. I read its a 50/50 chance for a bod removal.
