We cannot read too much into all of this.....

qe3, qe4, qe5, etc.... Gold is almost in a sweet spot.  If they ease up on the money printing (which they will not for now) it will be bad for stocks but not necessarily for gold.  Investors will flock to safer investments like gold when the equity market starts correcting.  On the other hand, if they keep pumping money then theoretically it is also good for gold.

Regardless of what they do this country is still $16.7 trillion in the hole and will be $18 trillion by the end of the year. The european union has a debt of $11.4 trillion.  This is not going away anytime soon as the global economy including the US struggles to show any kind of economic growth.

On another note, the damage in the junior market has been extensive both technically and literally.  It will take a while for many of these stocks to recover.  It will be a slow recovery but once again viable projects such as OLE will demonstrate their value.

There is no Tony---Once again , you appear to be negative.........there is no theoretically good for gold if they keep pumping money..... If the Fed indicates "stay the course" re QE , that will be Bullish for  Price of G old , PERIOD....

How am I being negative Arlene.  I am saying that gold will go up regardless of what the FED does.  If they print it is good.  If they do not print it is good because investors will sell stocks and buy gold.  Go back and read my post. In no way was I being pessimistic or negative towards gold.

Arlen, how is this a negative view on gold? Quote from my post: "Gold is almost in a sweet spot. Tony---Nothing theorrtically about if they keep pumping money , that it is good for gold....That is an established fact....

Good morning Arlene.  Money pumping should always be good for gold but what has it done for the metal in the past couple of years,  I know we ran up for about ten years and are consolidating but that is why I used the word "theoretically" as it has become an assmed fact instead of reality that money printing leads to a rise in gold. In a perfect non manipulated world it would ...more

Good Morning to you Tony.....Hope we both have a great day...Just don't get caught up in "perception"  vs what is actually "reality"    Best Regards , Arlene2
