Run Around OLE Mgmt

It all sounds like a "soft" end around Oromin Management...

"being offered to Oromin shareholders..."

"Oromin declined to grant Teranga due diligence access on terms acceptable to Teranga or to engage with Teranga in respect of such offer, which expired on May 31, 2013. "

Well I'd vote yes, in spite of the paper loss.  TGZ should rise after such a deal.  And what's the alternative?  The stock will never appreciiate while Chet sits around borrowing at double digit interest, unable to finance a mine in his wildest dreams.  I don't know if he's a martyr or what.  Won't grant due diligence access? Seriously, what's the ...more

Comet I beileve that now that they have an offer they can open negotiations.  I believe OLE will eventually come to an agreement at somewhere around .70 shares or 20% higher than the .582 and the BOD will approve it.  Remember TGZ initiated the offer.  Now they wait for a reply and meet somewhere in the middle. H1, Tony and Comet.... i agree to all. End around, open negotiation, and "Take it Chet"..., b/c the Merged Co will do fantastic, and the retail sp of both will be very good. The merged Co is a 2+2 = 5  deal. Ole by itself is 1+1=0 ..... I vote YES........  and  Top i think IMG  boutht their shares at around 70-74.... and they know the synergy of the Deal too. ... ...more

Imo the rest will be cash, so .582 per share and .10-.20 per share in cash.

I agree w comet. It's time for the property to materialize, at least we stay involved. Only way we get a better price (above $1) is for African Barrick or Randgold to get involved.

CAP,  imo, Ole wants all shares (initially)... and thats why TG  is best, b/c of the obvious synergy per the Posts by  Jennings analyst .  He said something like..." the combined sp could reach previous highs" Tg did theyre IPO at $3...... and Bendon and Badr would just sell their Shares later for cash...... jmo.
