Simply think it's because they're expiring shortly and one can assume he didn't think the 1.45 could be beat on the open market. Either way it helps the optics. What do you think this implies? de G has gone? He hasn't done much but if he is gone the market will look at this unfavorably.

It means that he exercised on options he was previously granted and that were about to expire. Now he outrightly owns 100,000 more shares in ONCY, as the company prepares for a pivotal 'binary' event.

I did consider this as a possibility but I would expect the rest of this lame duck management to do the same. May be we will see this in the days to come.  If there is a binary event then a blackout should occur soon. Nice find by the way.

thanx for the correction.  disappointing any way you look at it.  looked at major holders on yahoo and it stated that inside ownership was less than 1 1/2%.

I can't vouch for the accuracy of Yahoo or any other of these investor sites but anyone taking a serious look at canadian companies should be looking at the source on Sedi. Simply search "sedi summary report" and you'll be able to filter by issuer on the website (just type oncolytics) for any desired date range. It generate a free public report to suit whatever you're looking

Might actually be the reason for our little run up on low volume trades. Will it be sustained to the close. There are always profit takers especially on a Friday. One would assume the mm's will take it down toward the end of the day. Tell me one thing...what's with all these trades at a dollar and four decimal points to the right. Like $1.5294 which I'm sure was entered as a buy for $1
