OREA - Shareholder changes

Interesting change in the OREA shareholder base. The US Investment Fund which I believe was the lead institutional investor and held near 20% of OREA, has now apparently gone. In just the one month between the Sept’ to Oct’ OREA presentations. OCIM has already gone. So, now OREA is 70% retail held.

However, IMHO, NG will not try for a takeout of OREA until after the April 2022 French elections. Peaking Macron’s wrath by such an early public move, will surely hype up the environmental groups and may see a very negative official response to the Montagne d’Or permit decision.

Next OREA news may be their decision to go formally with their Suriname project.
