IMO, decarbonization has always been a cruel joke, BUT ...
IMO, the desire by many for global decarbonization has always been a cruel joke --- as a trained earth scientist, such remains my long-held perception --- BUT obviously, however, there are many who believe otherwise.
To wit: the BHP-focussed article --- linked below --- discusses how BHP see, for starters, "Up to 140 new copper mines, 60 new nickel mines, 50 new lithium mines and 17 new cobalt mines will be needed by 2030 alone."
Just curious: is this notion, indeed, BHP's true perspective, or, rather, just something they present largely for public consumption?
Investors, doing due dilligance, want to know.
Kindest regards.
