Gold at $2690 CDN. $1925 USD.

The old Atlantic Gold mine is on track to produce 100,000 ounces this year at a cost of about 800 CDN/ounce. Almost 200 million profit for 2020 unless gold goes higher. That should help pay for the US$536 million acquisition by St Barbara. If you connect the dots you might conclude that a buyout of Meguma and Osprey is very possible. If the 2 companies merge only one deal needs to be made. If they don't make a deal someone else will. That would really suck for St Barbara. These companies are worth much more than current ...more

Good morning QM, thks for the post & you're right, the Orissa thing is done & it seems now it had nothing to do with our management team, just the SH people. At least it was a distraction while we wait & it was a great name. Can you enlighten me on how Meguma got it's name, hardly a name that rolls off the tongue, I vote we push to keep Osprey as the amalgamated company name ...more
