Buying at 0.08 and not reflecting in the volume

I bought around 70,000 at 0.08 and it didn't reflect in the volume and didn't even update the stock price to 0.08! Where am I getting these stocks from? I'm using Scotia iTrade

crazy stuff going on--on Etrade I bought 20k SanMarco this morning and despite my account in etrade showing the price and shares--never a record of the trade so far--like it never happened except that I got shares and somebody got the money. I think platforms pool trades in very lightly traded issues (like San Marco)
