Monthly Distribution

It would be nice to see a monthly distribution, perhaps based on the current price of Pd. I fear that once the quarterly dividend is paid investors won’t have much incentive to hang on to their shares.

If one believes that PDL will be stronger 1 year from now, it makes no sense to sell as the divi is on top of capital appreciation. Sell, and you can buy back 10% higher. LOL. Traders, on the other hand don't care about dividends as much. I like quarterly as it will be less volatile than monthly and aligns with their financial statements.

I think you need to look a little deeper at what PDL is doing. They are doing just about everything correct when you look at the big picture. These special divi are going to keep people interested in this stock for a long time. I know they just mention only one as we speak but the profits are still just rolling into this company and I personally see no major collapse in Pd even though ...more
