So what happens tomorrow ?   John holds the press release until all the insiders are organized then sends it and resumes trading and the rest of us scramble to react ?

I'm totally pissed that the news wasn't released over the weekend.

I fully agree Copper, i'm hoping we we'll get a NR before the open tomorrow morning, BKM, [ John ] needs to explain what happened on Friday, as share holders I don't think we should have to contact him at office to find this out and i'm sure that we will, was it him who made the market aware or did the TSX + that stop our trading??? My guess is it was just speculation driving up the price.  Just over 2 months ago I guessed that based on the timing of the response required from BKM in the last letter on the EAO website that we'd be a few weeks for the office to put the file in front of the ministers and then another 45 days for them to make a decision which give or take a little would put the decision right around now

The government website has no information regarding a decision and trading halt should be lifted once that decision is announced. The trading halt is initiated so that small investors don't get screwed while Insiders and large shareholders buy or sell with insider knowledge.  if the government announcement is favourable, as I fully expect, I feel sorrow for those long-time shareholders
