If there worried about Extiction, WHY not run a few refrigeration units along the river, this is just my suggestion. BUT i don't beleive a lot i hear from USA and there Liberal Government, Go back some years and all they predicted, NOTHING happened. IMO

The solution is clean out the Might Fraser amke the water 10-15 feet deeper and it would be very much cooler. Instead of building dykes. The Vedder Canal is 12 feet full of silt,  take it out and get water temperature down.And we would not have to worry about floods. There are millions of cubic meters of material that could supply the construction industry in BC. You would see another
