"no legislated timeline"

Hmmm... I can understand if this was a person who is interested in building a sidewalk in his yard, but this is a multi-million/ billion dollar potential project which has much at stake, and is publicly traded with shareholders who invest in hope that the government will bargain in good faith.

Is "The Company has been advised that there is no legislated timeline for this decision." bargaining in good faith? Is this a brush off?

There must be a timeline, or this could be endless.... Or am I missing something?

With regard to the "timeline" statement, I do not think you are missing anything.  Really leaves the door open for more bad behavior on the part of the Government; BC's "good faith" has not been too good so far!  This is pretty limited in scope, it mentions only the selection of the option.

To me it's still just a lot of Smoke, Yes we will get something from Ministry, time frame is for sure lost in the smoke and . Sure wasn't good news to me, but some people have all the time in the world for this to pass or fail. I think at last count there were 39 people who are not alive today to enjoy if we get EAC. Ministry should be held accountable for there losses, Cheers BKM
