HIGH RISK

I was truly hoping to put forth a substantial percentage of my funds into this venture.  I put a lot of time and effort researching and educating myself on the risks of the project.  I have come to the conclusion that the risk tolerance is way to HIGH.  Some of the key reasons why the future performance of this stock is so uncertain;
- As stated in my previous post; Curis has not been forthcoming with information on changes to the program.  These changes can have a very profound and negative impact on current and protential investors.
- Every single landowner within the vicinity of this project is vehemently opposed to the proposed ICR operation.
- Attempts by Curis to obtain approval for rezoning by the town of Florence has failed twice in the past two years.  Curis has failed to acknowledge that it's not just the landowners who are opposed to the operation but also the Town itself.
- The town of Florence recently approved a resolution to encourage federal, state and county agencies involved in the permitting process to deny any and all permits for the project.
- Finally, the start-up money is not in place.  Although Curis is currently working on this and will likely secure funding - it's not there.

Again my recommendation is a STRONG sell.

So you have made your point before. Since you do not own any shares and after your due diligence, have decided not to buy any shares, how can you make a recommendation of strong sell?  Wait in three months time you will reanalyze the stock and come to the same conclusion.  Is this the only stock you are making a recommendation on? Sounds fishy and I bet you are a paid blogger by ...more

So you have made your point beforeElgin1: I would ignore that person if I were you; you are correct he/she keeps saying the same thing over and over. And, the statements are over-stated. You, however, make rationale comments that are helpful. I appreciate critical evaluations but if anyone wants to know what CUV is doing all you need do is call IR (Susie Bell)--she is very forthcoming (to the ...more

This is a very good debate. I want Curis to start producing as soon as possible but I do not think that it is the best idea for an investor to rely totally on what the company is saying, including Susie Bell. There are clearly two sides to this story and if you only read the official releases from Curis then you will have no idea what is really happening. Everything is not ...more

Again, Excelsior looks to be the safer bet today For the total project I agree. But CUV will get Phase I going on state lands before MIN gets anything into production. So CUV is "safe" (as much as anything is for these companies!) for 1/2 the project; hence the lowered SP projection from the analysts. That said, it is wise to wait to buy more CUV until we see how they finance the ...more
