Adit

Thanks for that comment.   If we could read the posts we would no more.   The one on there says he has first hand info.   Hopefully we will find out the truth one day.    I totally believe that the companies that are suing bb posters are telling the world that there companies value hinge on the uneducated investor.   If this is true then where are the educated investors.    Somewhere better?

I doubt that the lawsuit will impact what the state does on permitting. It is normal for a permit application to be filed, and then the agency to request responses to questions, more data, clarifications, etc. And they often or usually number in the 100's. It is a back and forth process. I think ErinG interpreted that as "rejection", which it clearly is not. Or he/she knows the facts ...more

Adit.   You seem to be very reasonable, a quality much appreciated by myself.   The mine may go through.   I never looked back at my post but I  think I said something like they lessened there chance on the permission of mine by launching the law suit.    You never want to underestimate the power of pear pressure.   If the locals take exception to the heavy ...more

I just got dun researching florence and the spirit of opposition to the mine.   This law suit has certainly reved thing up.   I had no idea the amount of opposition to the mine.   I am told if there is no opposition to permitt as it stands now, at the public hearing then it will be granted.  The temp one at least.   By the looks of things the no opposition thing will be as ...more

NOfluff you really have not researched or done your history on this project. Originally the mine was not in the town jurisdiction and was zoned industrial. Few years back, Florence incorporated the land into their area and changed the zoning to residential. Curis bought the land from bankrutpcy when the land developer went bankrupts ie housing market collapsed. Curis worked with town for 2 ...more

Thanks for the comments elgin.  You are right.   My data knowledge is  recent an certainly open to correction. I am not sure what thought was wrong with my comment.   My research was on the opposition to the mine. It seams to me it is substantial.   If there is opposition at the hearing, the permitt will not be granted untill such time as the concerns can be addressed. My ...more
