Math for elgin

Since I am putting in some time here I fiqured I might as well try to get paid.   My investment stratigy is simple.

Try to fiquere out a companies profit potential and buy the best I can if there is any. Suppose I am right and this thing flys worse thaan a pregnant pig.   The way I see it, (and this is where I am most looking for correction.  CUV owns 1100 acres of residential ground.    People from all around Canada go there to live because they feel so good there.  Could it be because of the copper? I would greatly like to know what the cancer rate is compared to the rest of the US.   If it is lower then people would flock there in droves.  I have many friends that winter in Arizona and my wife and I will soon be joining them. Lets say that the ground becomes worth 1 million per acre.   Gives curis  100 million.   More than enough to do a small scale mine on state lands.  So thats future.  Is the ground worth 25 million today.  If it is then curis is trading bang on value.

Of .60 per share. If it is different then the share price changes.  I gave them 10 million value for there small scale mining operation.  If they fail in getting comunnity support for that, they go to .40.   Any cenario better and we will do the math then.

Right now they need to fix the damage. Fully valued at .60 so I am not yet buying.

You can buy an apartment outside Pheonix for under $30 grand.  Thers is nothing in Florence. No shopping. Better to live in Casa Grande.  You should ask SouthWest Value Partners why they bought land next to a mine?  I ...more

Thanks for sharing Elgin.  Your spec on my losses on htr were bang wrong.   I am at break even.    I will make money ther.  You are right about buying some propery in florence tho.  I dont shop much so it sounds great. I did not relize how cheap it was there.  Why pull a trailer if you can buy for those prices.   I could then sit in the desert with a sgn ...more

The only thing that shows a higher incidence of cancer is skin cancer in the population versus rest of the nation. That is expected with exposure to the sun.  I dont know of cancer due to radioactice substances in the ground but there has been uranium mining in the past in Arizona.  Let ADEQ and EPA decide on that. In fact the hearing is today at 6 PM in Florence.  Curis will ...more

Thanks elgin. Maybe someone with more health data could wiegh in hear.    I was thinking maybe people were generaly healthier in florence than elsewhere.   No way I am going to sit in the desert with a sign that says "down with the evil copper miners" if there is no health benifit:) nf
