Idiot banks

Still no answers as to when we will receive funds for Painted Pony shares. I have been told variously as I slowly worked my way up the ranks that  a) I would get nothing , b) they had no idea  and finally c) to call back in two weeks if I hadn't heard from them by then. 

I stated that when I purchased stocks I had to pay within 2 days . They answered that either CNRL had to wait for the money or they could take longer because they were important clients.

I for one have had it up to here with these imbeciles and will not re-invest one cent with any of these incompetent nincompoops.

As a long term investor, I guess I must have been sleeping while this country became a frozen banana republic. I am awake now and the lesson will not be forgotten. So much potential , such monumental ineptitude and corruption.

I don't disagree with the spirit of what you're saying, oldnagger. But the fact of the matter is they are legally obligated to pay out the existing shareholders for the amount agreed to. True, a regular transaction would take three days to settle. But I'm not surprised if it takes an extra couple when it is the wind down of an entire company. True that I was upset when I made my comments but they are factual. The three people I spoke to were a representative , a trader and a supervisor. In the past I had come to expect  a much better response from people at these levels. In fact in the past, many had been the best of friends that could be relied on to serve their clients no matter the size of their account. It is truly time for ...more

A little bit of history, the last time settlement times were T+ 12 days was the 1800's  when certficstes had to be delivered by ( painted ) pony express.
