IOCG - TILLS
Milligan Mine - Open Pit.
IOCG - iron, copper, oxide gold.
Grey tills came in first.
With an overlay of, iron tills.
Soft tills.
Scattered boulders amongst the - tills.
Reason why....
they can move - 60,000 tonnes a day.
Which is why.... why assays are better than, xrf.
when one is dealing with - modest copper grades and irons.
Def.... iron copper.
Which is every why this lil junior should be seeking - iron copper.
Not just the malachite or azurite.
I would say... if the lil junior is hitting tills and hard rock
i would do - 3 - things....
1 - i'd be checking for bedrock placer gold
contact point of tills sit atop of - hard rock.
gold pay streaks would be - easy to identify.
former ecplorers on Jean... were looking for gold.
There is a history in this area of - placer gold.
2 - retesting for iron gold.
3 kinds of copper . ( not with xrf )
3 - retest the moly - gen style solid solution
green and red moly
wulfenite
lead style moly - mix - hard to detect
no fire assay... just ICP MS ( OES ) ions
