Ouch for those SH this morning! Womder if the stock can recover, might be a nice entry?  If you want risk, this might be it...

Very painful for many NAR shareholders. I still can't comprehend owning a basket of diamond explorers. You put 20 cents each into 5 diamond explorers and you are guaranteed to lose money overall. NAR is on the speculative end fo the whole thing because of the fancy yellow items and now the confirmation on the quality of those diamonds is bad. I guess when they said aggregates...they just ...more

This news is not good for the diamond exploration business in general and although the immediate pain is felt pretty much by only Nar SH, it puts serious doubt, and maybe for good reason, in the minds of future investors.  In some ways, even though there is absolutely no certainties in a play like ours, Chidliak becomes perhaps, a safer haven for those looking for a more advanced play to ...more

Means Canada will not be a future and significant supplier of fancy yellow's. this looked like the only opportunity. Tiffany's going to be scrapping the bottom fo the barrel to find yellows in the long term future. Diamond explorers have to make it on their own with the stones in the ground. There is no diamond mutual fund. Some precious metals include some diamonds...but when they have ...more

Agree Mike, kind of my point but said, well, more succinctly than me! Could be looked at as the half glass full/empty scenario....could bode well for some Jr's but most likely not for most...a lot of mistrust and knowledge shortfall hurts the industry and bad news IMO, but yes, lowers standards of what is valuable, really valuable, and that's the known. Speculation does not drive the SP ...more

Could mean that the next company to definitely prove a yellow, financially viable source could be infinitely more valuable than ever...go James, go!

The word "aggregates" spoke to me. You would never use that word in conjunction with gem quality diamonds. Yikes!!

I must admit that I am somewhat surprised at Nar losing almost 56% of its value today based on this news as I did not figure to weigh as much value into the stock from this area.  Surely a big letdown financially, but yikes, what happens if Pikoo results are not as expected, we will see Pgd prices plummet again, but the upside from here could be substantial...see what it does tomorrow.   ...more

Sorry, part of my post made no sense...what I meant is that we might see the price of Nar plummet to Pgd prices, current price anyway.

Nar rebounding a little now...should recover somewhat one would think.

Trying to get my head around pikoo. The bear side of Chidliak has always been about the small footprint. No gigantic 10+ hectare kimberlites. When I go over the Pikoo news releases...all I see is 25 metres wide, strike 100 metres, dyke like, blah, blah , blah. None of these announce to me - super size. They even seem smaller than Chidliak's deposits. Am I missing something? I understand ...more

Dead cat bounce? They are on alert now. If they have any disappointing results (below expectations) out of Pikoo...it will not be pleasant. EKIM
Comment by Kodiboy on Jun 10, 2015 12:06pm
Without claiming to be an expert by any means with Nar, Pikoo does seem to be the primary hopeful area for them and I agree, will be ugly if any poor results come out of the area.  Always seemed to be an overvalued stock, thinly traded perhaps one reason?  I think this is a case where the promo machine has painted a pretty picture beyond the reality and facts. Slow and steady the ...more

They are also pushing the fact that several companies have now staked claims in and around Pikoo....to create additional excitement. I guess the key point is that it is close to infrasturucture (roads) and power..so it is easy and cheap for a company to claim and maintain. That same rush did not happen on Chidliak because of: 1 - Too expensive for many of these companies to consider spending a ...more

Nar up 35%!

Looks like there was a profitable/opportunistic trade there. Might be a shoe to drop if there is any large holders waiting to liquidate. They may not exist though. EKIM

I'm really hoping Dundee is almost out of PGD shares. I'm highly suspicous that the anon selling we had in the early 30's that kept a lid on this and started the descent...probably was Dundee cashing up to help financing the $4 million NAR deal that they were the lead financer for. NAR moving up today is a sign that Mgmt and team have friends in high places. They may only be ...more

I find it a little dubious that Nar increased the public placement to that 4mil amount at .95 a couple of weeks before these results....one would think they must have had an inkling that the parcel they sent out  for valuation was basically garbage, I mean it wasn't even close was it? It makes you wonder how the buyers of he PP feel about now...
