Jericho parts?

Looks like Chidliak may be the only new diamond mill built over the next decade. (That isn't already under construction).

Government should sell Jericho equipment cheap$$ to Chidliak and barge it all the way to Baffin Island.

Doubt it...but there was mention of auctioning items off of Jericho.

LONG...PGD

That would be killer news if PGD bought the Jericho plant. I wrote about this quite a while ago. It is up to the the fancy logistics officer they employed to evaluate that strategy and if it is economically viable. He has probably formulated a strategy by now. This would be a good question for PGD management the next time someone emails or talks to them. No I don't want to do it myself. Not ...more

About 2yrs ago I spoke to Eric about the Jerico plant. He said PGD could buy it cheap as the Govnt would like to get rid of it as part of reclaiming process.I suppose it would need a new home before the Govnt would allow its sale. But it seems Chidliak is a go so it might be offered to PGD.

shockey telling the truth about some bonehead's idea to purchase a useless mill. WILL ONLY LEAD TO SP destruction ? The CEO should be in a position to get a grip on the situation or just plain scrw off!!

have to agree with schocker, old and busted, anyone who has worked with old and busted industrial equipment knows it costs way more long term than a solid investment in new capital equipment. If our resident pumped is correct and we actually have billions in the ground, going to a fire sale is a colossal mistake. Look at us, talking about equipment.....

Add the working conditions and availability of spare parts to it and you increase your cost exponentially. In the north you want something reliable.
