Let's see if this level can be sustained.

Still a gap up from scotias take all bids out at 17 pennies end of day yesterday. Apparently kaiser just released a paying subscriber report today. Can only assume talk of ch7 results soon and how undervalued the stock is. Long...pgd Ekim

an opening strength that fades during the day is worse than a weak open. It shows that people are not willing to pay the higher prices. Early buyers will be afraid of becoming bagholders and bail, making things worse for longs.

one thing the market doesn't like is b s NRs, company told us in Sept that we would have caustic results from the small drills 3,300 kilogram in October and November. Well one day left, and the delay is not helping support the sp and there is stock loss bailing. Last week our resident pumper was claiming a big diamond popped out, the reason for the jump to .25, if his reasoning is sound, that ...more

Cudjo, based on history, I find your expectations from the big guys a bit high. There hasn't been a buy from them to support the SP, just opportunistic ones. I fully expect them to take advantage of low prices at least once more.

It's early on the West Coast. It'll take awhile for those Kaiser subscribers to see the email and even then they might not read it until after work.  It's a much longer response lag for than the go-go days.   And personally I prefer this situation verusus the PR release causes a run for the exits because great news was already factored into the SP.

expected news is most often than not factored in the SP.  When the news comes out, the only question remains if it lived up to the expectations, bad or good, whatever they were. Not much you can do to beat human nature.

Interesting point about expected news already factored in Mill. Tell me. What do you expect from this news release? Grades for Kim-1 through 5 and expected value per carat? Tonnage increase from the drilling work that happened Where is the line between good news and bad news for this expected news release in your opinion?
Comment by ekim on Oct 29, 2015 12:59pm
In the near term: The factual news will be in the grades being released. The touchy-feely news will be in the diamond photo portfolio. Canadian investors now have recent access to CH-6 photos, NAR photos and KDI photos. All of that information is very useful in trying to intrepret the diamond photos. LONG...PGD EKIM

Stock moves based on what people think about it. Individual decisions will translate into a more collective idea and you get the daily close and a trend, possibly. Definitely the momentum. Take today for example. The stock gapped up. The reaction to that is "I better get in or I miss the opportunity to buy low" or "I better sell before the price drops again". Good chance that ...more

Kidlapik...I don't believe we are in for ANY material stock moving news till the end of the year into next...at least that is what one should gather from direct information from the company, not rumours or wishful thinking. Maybe some news, but not the BIG news unless we get a major surprise from Botswana and that is only an if. JMHO
Comment by Kidlapik on Oct 29, 2015 1:42pm
I merely wanted to illustrate the point that determining what separates "good" results from "bad" results is not something easily translated to the average investor. Mill himself wont go on record to say where his expectations lie in regards to the quantifiable results we are expecting. How can you assume that "good" or "bad" news is baked into the share ...more

I agree, if the SP was already set with ANY news already built in, then the stock would not move in any direction from any kind of news...I think the term is overused but that's just my thought.
Comment by mill44 on Oct 29, 2015 2:12pm
There is no "good" or "bad" news, Kidlapik. There is news that moves the stock up and there is news that moves it down. If expectations for the news go to the extremes before the news, good news could be seen as bad because it is not as good as they thought it would be and the other way. That's why I don't care about the news. I care about what people will do before and ...more

Huh?  Let's not try to be to technical in saying there is no such thing as good or bad news.  Agree what occurs because of the news is more important but really, we get good news the stock is most likely to go up and vice versa...that seems to be a reasonable way of looking at it.
