JMHO
After the rights offering is done we should know how much the Friedlands jointly own. It looks more plausible every day that this thing is going private unless something unexpected happens.

Not necessarily. As you can see, they can increase their position at no extra cost, just providing working capital. If they go private, they will have to buy up the shares and provide the capital. They might not see a lot of benefits for doing that. In any case, I would feel a lot better if someone showed up with a 5% stake after this offering.
