I'm curious to see Robert's final tally. He was at 24.3% and I suspect he might not want to legally go over 24.99% as it might kick in some thresholds.long...PGD...ekim. They got the min $4 million they needed.

I assume this includes oversubscription plus potential US subscribers or will these follow?

Ekim, you said they only needed to raise 4 million, if that were true why didn't they do this in the first place and at a higher price.  I have checked all the releases, can't find anything that says they needed only 4 million.  Disappointed they are short but not really surprised.

I will look for the 4 million reference. I think the $7 million was a byproduct of doing a 25% 1:4 without needing to get tsx approval. Do the full 25% to raise as much as you can and then pick a discount price you think will be successful. I don't think it is more complicated then that.long...PGD...ekim

I don't think that anyone should have counted on Dundee or DeBeers exercising. That is a big chunk of shares. Retail was confused enough not to fully exercise. It is not so bad if that is the shortfall. The bigger question is what their future plans are. This money is nothing. Are they going to do the PEA and go to the bank with it?

I think you got it bang on Mill. Dundee - We know one of their funds is plalnning a liquidity event..as in...investors have an option of cashing out by early 2017..so that fund has to start transitioning everything into cash. Exercising rights is counter to that. DeBeers - Don't have a clue if they still own shares...let alone exercise any rights that they may or may not have. Future plans  ...more

I think more than 3M from the 5.64 is their money. They must have known it before, but if not, they know it now that they will have to put up most of the money for any future work unless there is a significant improvement in the SP. They will only do that if there is no other way. If they can secure the money for the mine somehow, then they will start working on that. No more exploration.

We had a big clue of no more exploration when they didn't use the heli-RC rig last summer. It is used to delineate the overburden..Already done that at the 3 pipes...and also to find out if anomalies are kimberlites or not. All focus will now be on what tonnage comes out of ch-6/7 at the end of March and what opportunties exist for converting more tonnage in july/august. I believe the ...more

This is incredible. Eric and Robert didn't pick up the extra paper, that should put to rest the theory of privatization. So we must again try to reason out why, we knew the retail investors weren't likely to exercise given the falling SP and PGD's inability to write a NR that has a hint of simple to understand shameless promotion. I am guilty of using the term gift...I really did see ...more
