It looks like

people are disappointed by the news. It would be interesting to know what  they were expecting. A grade of 1.5 ct?

The issue for me with the PR was the value per carat at CH7 - much lower than anticipated. I fully understand that there were breakage issues and I am quite confident that the REAL per carat value will be higher. But what will it be? Tthe market (and even myself) evaluate the information we have. The naggings thought in the back of my head is "What will the per carat value be of the new pipes ...more

If there is new discovery, it does not matter if it will be CH7 value, it could only add to the project. Whoever sees a premium built into PGD's price must be pretty drunk. There are a few questions to answer yet, but I think that we will get something in the next while.

If anyone here has any experience over a couple of years with exploration stocks, then it should not be a huge surprise that exploration companies raise money pretty much all the same way, they issue more paper.  I'm not saying that that is the only way, but it most definitely, and in many different forms, that they need to do to raise cash unless someone like Jimmy Patterson walks in the ...more

schocor when you say the per carat value of "new pipes yet to be discovered" do you mean on top of the 60+ pipes already discovered? CH-6 is by itself already enough to build a small mine add CH-7 and CH-44 to it and you have 10+ years of mine life. The upside potential with 60+ pipes that have yet to be deeply tested or the several pipes that have shown economic viability but have yet ...more

We are in full fledge sell on news mode. I absolute see a shock to to the market when the economics come out in the PEA. A lot of people won't understand where that came from. Came out of left field. The PEA on a CH6 standalone pipe is economic. However a  1mtpa over 5 years would be more economic then a 500 kpta over 10 years..but you an LOM of 5 years is not pleasing to many ...more

Ekim, I would not worry about today's selling. Like I said before, people who understand the project are fully in. The ones selling don't care about fundamentals at all. But as the price gets lower, it gets also more attractive to people who understand PGD but hate the risks.

I already know of someone who stepped in today and was appreciative and surprised at being able to buy in at these prices. Probably not a long line up..but there are probably are some people who have patientily been waiting on the sidelines based on all the news that has come out very recently. LONG...PGD EKIM

If the price holds up today, we could finally see a bit of a greed kick in. You might also get a little help from remorse. The close will be telling.

Agree Mike, as long as this stays around these prices, there will some surprised and thankful investors, IOHO, who will be rewarded in the long term. Just be careful you don't wait to long as some here believe our day is coming, sooner than we think!  Oh my how shocking...

The market might not like it but I do. We will see some interest now that the tonnage and extra 4 million cts gets pluged into cash flow spread sheets.Think about it the LUC diamond is selling for $90 million for the 1100 ct diamond and PGD has over 15 million cts for $60 million. PGD will go up in value as the market is not reflecting a 30 million ct TFFE

Now I know I'm in the twilight zone, Mill is not worried about the selling?  Or is telling Mike he should not be worried?  What is going on here, reverse psychology, yes, no?
Comment by schocor on May 05, 2016 1:18pm
Kitipack "new pipes discovered" was not the right phrasing - what I should have said is "new pipes to be sampled". Very few of the existing pipes have been through the detailed analysis that CH1, Ch6 and Ch7 have gone through. Yes they have 60 pipes. But (rule of thumb) only 1 in 75 is economic to mine. What this mine needs is YEARS of feed. CH7 is certainly good enough, but ...more

Schocor - You make a lot of sense in your ideas. You should still be able to crank up the production at an open pit to feed the mill...so I'm not too worried about needing multiple pits at any one time to make sure the pit is fed. You can always add more equipment and bigger trucks and shovels, etc. to the open pit. Not restricted like underground. First goal is to get your highest value ...more
