I agree MPV is going to consolidate KDI.In order for that to happen Desomond requires a paper profit if onltyto save face he invested in the KDI bust. But if MPV paper is being pushed up as well as his $ 3.50 KDI PP then the optics look like a profit was made on both his positions in MPV and KDI even though its a shell game to satisfy his positions to look like a profit.

I could never figure the reason KDI did not collapse on its terrible results. But MPV is moving in my "opinion" to protect a fellow who fell in a bucket of Sh*t to come out smelling like a Rose.At any rate the result of the MPV KDI merger could spark consolidation in the diamond exploration space and pop up the PGD shares as the "whos next" greed factor kicks in much like we have seen in the gold JR space post the KAM deal.

We need something to kick start the diamond JRs even if Its a false prophet or make that a false profit. If you KDI shareholders want a real score sell the KDI merger and buy PGD.PGD is the REAL diamond mine no matter the game being played to make the KDI results the Queen of the dance.

Real results will mean real gains not a paper shuffle.

James - as usual you really don't know what you're talking about. Sure Chidliak has great grade and values but it's too small. It will cost a BILLION dollars to build Chidliak. Yes, it will make money but not enough to cover operating costs AND pay back the capital. Your analysis of a MPV/KDI merger is just BS. The question remains: if you like Chidilak so much why are your constantly ...more

Once again Explorer you tout $1-billion for a mine when every comparable diamond mine of the scale Chidliak warrants is nowhere near a billion. Iqaluit is the capital of Nunavut and has the most infrastructure of anywhere here. The Jericho mine in Western Nunavut cost roughly $400-million in todays dollars for a larger (tonnes processed) facility than would be necessary for Chidliak. At 1-million ...more

The miningcost is not everything. What about the infrastructure?
Comment by Kidlapik on May 22, 2016 1:19pm
15-million carats at a depth of about 260metres valued at average of $200can = $3-billion Canadian open pittable. Research the depth diamond mines mine to, research the start-up costs of various diamond mines in Canada costed and tell me this wont happen. Mine itself: 1-million tonne processing annually for 2.45million carats annually = $400-500mil Infrastructure: 120km road, either seasonal or ...more

Kid, I can't really add anything to your last post as you basically made it quite clear the expens vs value of this play.  Like I said previously, I'm no expert in this area by any means, but I don't have to be to read, understand and compute numbers provided here and elsewhere, to foresee the possibilities and potential...plus I know these are best quests scenarios, not actual ...more

The goal of pgd should be to derisk and make chidliak as appetizing as possible year in and year out. They have done this using carefully and fiscally responsible programmes. Could they have spent more and done more? Yes. Could they have spent less and done less? Yes. Achieving a PEA is a pretty significant accomplishment for chidliak. Some companies do a pea to confirm whether a project is ...more

Mike, I know I'm going to sound like a cheerleader, or get accused of being so, but again, very well said indeed! Canada wins gold at the WHC over the Fins...yes!

Kid   Your numbers are actually conservative. While there are 28 grams in an ounce of pot, there are 31.1035 grams in one troy ounce of gold. This alone jacks your numbers up another 11%.   Kodi   Hey, speaking of games, Oh Canada baby! How about the biggest shocker of this awesome Final – that being Putin? Wow!

Putin = crook of the highest level worth multi billions... not impressed with his surprise visit at the WHC in Russia, kinda ruined the celebration for me..I hear in Rusia they call him the mad dog, sound familiar?

lol Kodi   Think the texts said the guys wanted poutine after the game, not Putin!   https://www.google.ca/search?q=poutine&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwig_-Ks7u7MAhVS9WMKHYdFCt8Q_AUIBygB&biw=1056&bih=506
