The SP losing steam again is sending a message to PGDs management investors do not want to finance this project any further at these prices and want PGD to explore a sale into stronger hands.

I guess we will see if they get it on the CC

I dont know why you guys are so gung ho for a sale. I dont see it happening. The Friedlands basically own this thing right now. Why would they sell it for chump change when they could finance it themselves and get all the profit? $1.3billion in cash for $450-mil cost, and thats just to roughly 250m depth. A lot of time left on this and I would not be surprised to see another internal financing ...more

Another discount financing? I believe it is easy to push through a discount financing at 1/4 ratio without too many loopholes. Above that and you need to get extra special permission. So, at 339 million shares and they do a discount at 1 to 4 gives another 84 million shares. If you discount that to 20 cents. Then you raise just over $16 million. cold hard fact is they had trouble raising 7 million last time, didn't complete the last financing and came up short, now 20 million???  More like they need 30 million, if you don't believe me, see JK.  I know the PEA may help convince some shareholders to play along, but they have hit a wall with financing fatigue, the PEA is still only a best guess, has to move to indicated and ...more

Oiltar, you're not actually suggesting that they would make an announcement about a sale of anykind of JV during the CC?  Or even answer questions about that?

You sure seem to be able to pull a lot of information out of one afternoons worth of trading. I might question the accuracy of your analysis. One other question: why do you post so much olitar? Do you really think you have that much to say?
