"technical difficulties experienced"

My formatting probably will not work but here is the reply I received from PGD IR this afternoon: Dear Xxxxxxxxxxx, Unfortunately technical difficulties experienced by the webcast host meant that the call moderator could not see that people had in fact lodged questions. We would like to apologize for this. As Tom indicated, if you do have questions please feel free to email or call. Tel: (604) 408-8880 Please use this link to listen to the archived conference call and webcast: https://edge.media-server.com/m/p/ezbiued4 The slides for the webcast are also attached. Thanks again for your time today and again please accept my apologies. Regards, Mishka Gounden Peregrine Diamonds IR Dept.

That's bad. Very bad. People lost thousands of dollars on a technical problem. It very much gave the appearance of there being no interest in the project. With the way management have financed, I can't blame anyone for hitting the panic button on hearing that there was no interest whatsoever. That is very bad.

Well, we ALL make mistakes (Ive paid 7-digit market dues over the last 10 years alone if that makes you feel any better). Calling or emailing the company to find out what really happened does work most of ...more

maintenance1 wow, quite the drama queen! Webcasts do not always work smoothly - duh. MOST people did not lose thousands of dollars. Maybe the scared SELLERS but everyone else is still intact. Holders are still whole. For me it was GOOD, VERY VERY GOOD, even though I had roughly 75,000 of my shares underwater. Whatever! This was a TEMPORARY event that should have triggered a BUY BUY BUY not a SELL ...more

Interesting. Maybe I am going to look at a career as a con artist. I must be good at fooling people. But joke aside, it still worries me that the fundamentals did not drive more interest today. We will see tomorrow. Today might have been an excellent opportunity to get in at a discount or the last chance to get out in decent shape.
