Lassonde Curve

Dearly Beloved, Time to remember the Lassonde Curve. With the deposit defined, the near to medium term future for the stock does not look rosy. Next step - funding and building the $100 million road. Stand by for another delightful rights issue.

while I agree we may be at the start of an orphaned position, one size does not fit all, go to the quote section of this board, and look at the 5 year  chart, "curve", doesn't fit.  It is possible management will do another rights offering, if there is no partner in the future, and kill the sp once again, difference this time maybe is it will be filled as shareholders have ...more

Dear Explorer49, this is my territory. You are encroaching on my business and only Cudjo can do that. Personally, I would hate to see another rights issue, but there will be quite a few who will tell you that they would more than welcome one. Some will also remind you that the curve is for a project from exploration to extraction and we don't know yet if PGD will ever be a mining company ...more

While I like the Olitar scenario, I suspect a rights offering is where we are going. Hopefully, they have learned that ridiculously discounted rights offerering are all around bad. I think the single biggest thing holding back the share price is general investor fear that they will do it again, 5 cents?   10 cents, whatever. 800,000,000 shares outstanding isn't in any outside investors ...more

It really depends on your timeframe and cash on hand. The Lassonde curve shows that you should be making money if you wait long enough and if you average down. You can be early, but with enough cash, time and good stomach you will make good money. But I still stand by what I said quite a few times before, only hold long if that's your plan. That changes once the charts confirm the fundamentals ...more

That would depend on where you think we are on the curve. Is the exploration phase done? There are many pipes to be explored and ch6 and 7 are open at depth. Sikwane, although a long shot, could be significant. Isn't Sikwane news due in August?
