THE ROAD TO KNOWERE

PGD stock is in the tank as the NIRB rejection of Sabina golds mine permits is in question. Now PGD spending any  more money on Chidliak until the Federal Minister rules on the SBB mine permit is a waste of money and time.SBB spent $200 million on the Back Water discovery only to be told "NO" for a mine permit. Now PGD wants to build a road to Chidliak at a cost of $100 million added to $100 million on the current exploration tab.But as we have seen in NVT one hand does not know what the other hand is doing. Why did SBB even get a permit to explore the area only to be told they can not build the mine.

I have come to the conclusion that PGD share price can not get a higher valuation while SBB has not been allowed to build the mine.PGD should stop all work at Chidliak in support of SBB or face the possibility of its mine permi being rejected by the NIRB after the road to knowere has been built.

SSB has the full support of all stake holders incuding the NVT goverment yet the shock came when the NIRB said "NO"

I strongy urge ALL PGD shareholders write to Carol Bennett the Fedreal Minister of mines and point out to her our doubts about the NIRB at Chidliak and have serious doubts about investing in exploration projects in NVT.Until we all do this PGD will not produce any financial gains unless the Minister rejects the NIRB in support of Sabina.

To all PGD shareholders your money is at risk in PGD you must act to protect it:

Money talks James. Has the IIBA been fully disclosed. Don't recall seeing it.Great that local support is found and that an IIBA agreement has been signed. That is one big hurdle. The next hurdle has been knocked down for the moment. Don't try and merge these hurdles together....they are and should be separate. Chidliak has Iqaluit support and does not need to deal with the first hurdle ...more

Anybody who thinks the Sabina project and the Chidliak Project are the "same" when being compared by NIRB are very ignorant of this part of the country. Sabina is located along one of the main caribou migration routes in an area where caribou make up a large part of the culture and are a staple in the diet. Chidliak has seen 9 caribou in 7 years of monitoring NINE, single digits. Sabina ...more

Whom are you going to believe or trust, someone who lives in the area (Kid) or someone who seems to have an alternative motive (James)? My vote goes to the person who lives and breaths the air up there, not the bluster... Very good rebutle Kid!

In the words of Bob McEwen "there has never been a mine built with out some one trying to stop it" I doubt Chidliak will be the only one to have no one trying to stop it.But that said Chidliak will get built and so will Back Water. Not trying to drag PGD into SBB and no I don't breath the air up there. But I do live in the real world and have seen many road blocks that no one seen ...more

James, I do agree with you that it's a hard long road, no pun intended, to the exploration/finacial/permits/development/building/production and I'm sure other issues, to the end game, but your post did seem to be dragging Pgd into Sbb's problems and I guess one could take away the value in your warning, but not fear mongering as it seemed to be.  So, one should heed your comments, ...more

If you take a gold deposit and put it exactly where Chidliak sits...you would still have a harder time permitting that gold mine versus the diamond deposit and an even harder time permitting a uranium deposit. It is not just about geography and location. Kid's points on Chidliak and where it sits are all valid. I can't emphasis enough how much a diamond mine is not a Gold mine. LONG ...more

Mike, good point, so if Sabina was after a diamond mine, they wouldn't have this problem?
Comment by Kidlapik on Sep 10, 2016 7:10pm
Sabina's problem is completely its location. Its located along a migratory route for caribou on the main land side of Nunavut where traditional people hunted caribou as one of the primary sources of food. This traditional harvesting persists to this day to a very large degree where caribou is considered a staple and is actually harvested in main land communities and shipped via air to more ...more

Thus my question to Mike...it's not because it's a gold mine, it's because of the mines location...simple as that.
Comment by ekim on Sep 11, 2016 10:09am
You remove location as less of a concern.and different commodities have different milling and environmental effects. A DMS unit is quite different then.a cyanide unit or a froth flotation unit. Any location with wildlife concerns is tough regardless of commodities. The bunder tigers or the back river caribous. The chidliak (insert here). Nothing to really insert there is there?Sabina might be ...more

Road to no where is a famous engineering project going on for over 150 years in India where an engineer is mailed a phoney check to inspect a bridge that does not exist ... haha ...
