Silvewhere. Critics haven't added anything substantial to the DD since at least when the PEA came out. For a couple of years they did sugest/warn/imply that the Chidliak pipes are too small to amount to anything of economic value. For about 6 to 12 months there was a strong suggestion that capital costs would be at least $1 billion for a northern project like Chidliak. Both of those were ...more

Excellent post Mike...maybe non believers, about certain posters, will finally, finally get it!

As a long time PGD long here are the problems with Chidiak: - Not enough ore/pipes to small - They have not identified new diamondiferous pipes in a few years - Junior mining sector is in a slump hard to raise needed money - Diamond producers are in a slump cant give away small diamonds Alarosa and Debeers are holding back produced diamonds from market sales - Project risks I am not sure I ...more

schocur, very good expression of your opinion...what is the issue with the cement cost?  To low, or to high, asssuming to low.
Comment by ekim on Feb 03, 2017 3:43pm
Alrosa is and always was a wild card. They are pushing for even more production. They have a lot of pits and a few undergrounds. Disclosure is somewhat limited (better since they went pseudo public) and they clearly disclose at what depth the current pits are. Whereas they are not going to throttle back carat production anytime soon..they can't prevent the average depth of their entire fleet ...more

Mike, in the short short term, what would be better for an investor, retail investor already with skin in the game with a somewhat healthy position, a JV to fund the winter program in the tune of $15 million or so, or another PP in the low range of .10 or so, giving that retail investor another opportunity to buy in for more, how should I say it, cheap shares...which maybe in the long run, will ...more

PP should at market or a slight premium. 2 years ago a PP would send any junior stock down below the PP price and put the PP in jeopardy. Over the last 12 months..there have been PP's done that created instant energy in the stock and the market traded it above the PP price. The latter is the market rewarding the company for cashing up the account and the former is the market perceiving the ...more

Sorry I ment to say a rights offering.
Comment by ekim on Feb 03, 2017 4:53pm
Current negotiations are not for a rights offering..otherwise they would be just negotiating with themselves. "The Company is continuing discussions with various entities regarding options to finance future work programs and advance Chidliak towards commercial production. There can be no assurance that these discussions will be successful." LONG...PGD EKIM

If negotiations are not successful is the key to a possible form of financing that just might be the only route to keep the winter program alive thus perhaps a rights offering? I guess anything is possible.
Comment by griefman on Feb 03, 2017 5:54pm
Wonder what the effect would be on the SP, if the winter program was cancelled?
Comment by ntagain on Feb 03, 2017 6:58pm
You are seeing it.

Are you short or on the sidelines ntagain?
Comment by ntagain on Feb 03, 2017 10:36pm
Long forever. I have probably taken over Gward's position as nearly the elder of the group, so talk of a mine way down the road is of little interest. Limited finances. Wish I had never got in, but here I foolishly am. Would love to see a JV that drives things to a 60 or 70 cents. Then I would quickly say Adios. In the meantime, I day trade a little of my position here and there for a penny to ...more

Maybe they are lousy at communicating because they are great at business. It is frightening that their interests are better served with a lower SP. Sad how often we hear people say that they regret getting involved in a project with such potential. Then the icing on the cake, you get the Silverwheres who will tell you that you are not allowed to vent your frustration or doubts because they managed ...more

Again, it's just to bad most if not all people are not as smart and business savy as you Attila who as you say have participated in the last 2 I believe offerings? Very smart indeed as you complained poor wittle me I'm getting hosed again. Those 10 cent shares don't look to bad even with the current upheaval.
Comment by griefman on Feb 03, 2017 7:08pm
nt , I think you are partially right, but not quite a no go yet, so the pain could be a little worse if and when it's kiboshed.
Comment by griefman on Feb 03, 2017 7:33pm
Silver, notice how Mill and Cudjo have backed off and try to use the "ignore" technique? It's a way of trying to gain control in a subtle non assertive manner so you feel you can't goat me in, I'm above that, above you, I'm an intellectual not emotional, just plain smarter than everyone else. Pity....
Comment by mill44 on Feb 03, 2017 8:44pm
Ntagain, I believe what you are seeing is doubt that there will be a program. A confirmation of that would be a lot more painful.
Comment by griefman on Feb 03, 2017 8:56pm
I concur....gee
Comment by mill44 on Feb 03, 2017 7:40pm
As a very longtime PGD shareholder, who participated in 3 rights offerings already, I had the pleasure to argue with every single opportunistic person who thought that they managed to time their entry perfectly, that there is a short term and a long term outlook for PGD. Like Kidlapik, you can partially ignore the shorter term and just focus on the long term when they are not aligned. How? He is ...more

See, Mill is indeed smarter than everyone. My bickering or issue with Cudjo and you Attila, is that you always think you are right, that's it , period. Until you can admit, Cudjo can admit, to maybe not being right all the time, then you will attract your fair of negative attention. Do you really believe you are always correct? Do you believe it is a weakness to admit you may just be mistaken?
