The new technology sounds like a magnetometer and only gets one sentance. The best geophysical technolgy for finding kimberlites is an airborne gravity gradiometer. BHP had one, and De Beers had one (before it crashed). Now they are being commercialsed by third parties. The second best is the full tensor airborne magnetometer.
